Day 16 of 30 Days of Amazing

You Have To Jump

I watched a short 2-minute video clip that recorded some amazing insight given by Steve Harvey. In the video, Steve stated, “If you want to be successful, you have to jump. There is no way around it. You have to jump.  Every successful person has jumped.  You have to jump.  You have to take a leap of faith. You have to dash off that cliff and you have to jump off as far as you can.”

Many of you who are reading this already know this but how many of you are actually jumping off cliffs continuously? How many of you are testing your limits to the point you question yourself about how high and how far you’ve jumped off the cliff? So many people claim they want certain things in their lives but they tend to do nothing to make it truly happen. It’s the fear of hitting the ground and not being able to soar. That is such a sucker move! It will always be easier to talk about the success than actually being the success. It’s easier to give excuses on why things won’t work out rather than testing your ideas to see if they will work.

Steve stated towards the end of the clip, “If you do not jump, I promise you one thing, your parachute will never open. You may be safe, but you’ll never soar.” I agree with him 100%. What is the point of living safe when in actuality, no one is truly safe from the trials and tribulations of life? When you understand and agree with this, it is my hope you jump off the cliff every day so that you can soar in life with your parachute wide open.
