The great Pastor TD Jakes stated the following, "When people can walk away from you, let them walk. I don’t want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, or staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.
The late great Dr. Maya Angelou always spoke about love and its depth. During one of her most amazing interviews, she stated, “I am grateful to have been loved and to be loved now and to be able to love, because that liberates. Love liberates. It doesn’t just hold—that’s ego. Love liberates. It doesn’t bind. Love says, ‘I love you. I love you if you’re in China. I love you if you’re across town. I love you if you’re in Harlem. I love you. I would like to be near you. I’d like to have your arms around me. I’d like to hear your voice in my ear. But that’s not possible now, so I love you. Go.'”
Jim Carrey is simply an awesome spirit. As a kid, and even now, Jim was just so cool to me. If you never heard of Jim Carrey, he is an award-winning American actor (Google him). I would like to think that if I had the opportunity to meet him, he would confirm my childhood view.
