Summer Madonnas Photography Exhibit was held this past weekend on the evening of Sunday, July 20, 2014 in TriBeCa NYC. The event celebrated various inspirational women who are leaving an extraordinary mark within their community and the lives of many.

The event showcased beautiful framed fine art photography that was created from the Summer Madonnas Photo Shoot. The event entailed cocktails, surround sound of jazz music, freshly prepared dishes by Chef T. Cleaves, and a special presentation of the exhibit by the creator of Summer Madonnas, Rahfeal Gordon. Wait, Rahfeal Gordon??? Oh that's me... haha!

Well, let me add to this brief description (If you don't mind).....

I was inspired by
Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani (best known as Valentino) and his red dresses that he designed a few years back. When I created Summer Madonnas, I simply had a vision to inspire all women. Not just a certain ethnic background of women. Just ALL WOMEN. For me to create the pieces I needed for the exhibit, I called on my RahGor team first and each of them came through like a BOSS! Man, what would I be without a great team (ummm nowhere, that's where!)

As I gave my presentation at the exhibit, I went through the process of what it took to create what they were currently viewing. At the closing of my presentation I stated something that I learned during the photo shoot with the women.  And that something was this....

We all have the power to create the vision in which we see for ourselves. We have the power to choose the individuals who will assist in making that vision become real. We even have the power to control the energy that we allow in our circle during this process of creating. As I watched each beautiful and intelligent woman stand ready for their picture, I just knew that I was blessed. Blessed to have vision and blessed that these women believed in my vision enough to be apart of it. Something I can never take for granted....
