Change Your Language (Day 20 of 21 Days of Greatness)

Change Your Language: As you continue on your journey, you will eventually have to know the language of the world and universe. What this means is that at a certain point, you will have to give up the ordinary talk about nothingness. You can not be on a journey that has been establish for kings and queens and yet you speak with a peasant tongue. You will never get far on your journey speaking as such because evenly you mindset will become weak and you will have the language of poverty.

Language is the method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way. It is the system of communication used by a particular community or country. Human language has the properties of productivityrecursivity, and displacement, and relies entirely on social convention and learning. Did you understand this? It is based entirely on [social] convention and learning. This means, the group you socialize with has a direct affect on your language development.

What type of people do you socialize with? Leaders or weekly night club goers? Investors or spenders? Where do you spend your time when you socialize? Do you spend it with individuals who don’t appreciate their environment (or themselves) or at dinner parties with great global connecters/ global leaders? If you want to be great, you spend your time among the great.

When you want the language of greatness, you listen and observe the great. It doesn’t matter the distance to get to the lands where the great dwell. It doesn’t matter how long it will takes to get there. It doesn’t matter if you are told that the language isn’t spoken by the masses. Just go, learn, and speak the language of greatness. Because many are called but few are chosen.

Be Thankful (Day 19 of 21 Days of Greatness)

Be Thankful: We must be thankful for the opportunity that we have been given in each second of our lives. We have to be thankful for waking up and being able to have the freedom to become great. What good is it to be on a journey that you are not thankful for? When you don’t acknowledge how far you’ve come on your journey, you may begin to curse the steps you have taken. You may mistakenly look at all of your blessings as having no value. And this is not what people of greatness do. We, the people of greatness, look at every detail as being tailor-made just for us. And that is something to be thankful for. Remember when you fell last week? You should be thankful for that. Why? Because there was a lesson in that fall and it was tailor made just for you to learn.

Oprah Winfrey said something quite deep a few years ago. She said, “You can’t be friends with someone who wants your life.” Do you know one of the reason why she said this? Because these individuals aren’t appreciate for the biggest blessings we each have receive. And that blessing is the gift to be ourselves in the greatest capacity know to man. We must say thank you as much as we can each day. Thank you for this food, this eye sight to see beauty, this brain for my intelligence, my friends for support, this roof over my head, the blessing to know that of all the billions of people in the world – There is only one me. So be thankful along your journey and watch what happens along the way.

Never Hesitate (Day 18 of 21 Days of Greatness)

Never Hesitate: Gandhi once said, “Men often hesitate to a beginning because they feel that the objective cannot be achieved in its entirety. This attitude of mind is precisely our greatest obstacle to progress. An obstacle that each man, if he only will it, clear away.” The journey is crowded with opportunities for you to develop and know your true self. But it is scarce with people due to what they fear may happen in their lives. Hesitation is like the person who lacks faith by asks God for the same thing over and over again. Their hesitation lies behind the repeated prayer with the knowing that they must do the hard work as well. If they had supreme faith, they would ask only once (knowing HE knew their prayer before they prayed it) and spend the rest of the time working through the [obstacles] with supreme tenacity to reach their blessing.

What are the steps you are hesitating to take while on your journey? Are you afraid of what you are [imagining] could be around the corner? Just so you are reminded, the term “imagining” comes from the word “imagine.” Which means form a mental image or concept of; to suppose or assume. Hesitation comes from fear, lack of faith, and the lack of information to make a personal conclusion/decision on something. At this point, in Day #18, you have received 17 different tools to help build your faith, confidence and insight to walk without hesitation. Get to the root of your hesitation so that you can stand firm in the decisions you make on your journey. You got this! Never hesitate because you have an appointment with greatness. And you can’t be late!
