Have a Sense of Humor (Day 11 of 21 Days of Greatness)

Have a Sense of Humor: How boring is a person who works all day to achieve their personal greatness with no sense of humor? The answer is VERY BORING. Learn to develop a great sense of humor along your journey. You will attract more friends and even turn enemies into allies. It a great character to have when the going gets tough as well. Those who have tapped into their personal greatness knows that we must laugh at the Goliath’s we have to fight within us to show that no matter how difficult the battle – it won’t stress us out.

Having a sense of humor makes the journey to greatness more enjoyable. It helps us get through the toughest times and the darkest of times in our lives. Having a sense of humor allows people to feel comfortable around you. They don’t mind letting their guard down so that you can see their authenticity. We all need someone to get us through the long workloads with a little encouragement and laughter. Life here on this earth isn’t forever so we must try our best to make the most out of it. Never Go On Sale (Day 10 of 21 Days of Greatness)

Never Go On Sale: Let’s get this straight from the start. Your life is valuable. This means your thoughts are valuable. This means your visions are valuable. This means everything you say and create in this world has value. This is why you should never settle for less in anything you do. When you know who you are and the the destination you are trying to reach, why would you bargain for less? Honestly, why would you waste your time bargaining in the first place?

Take a lesson from many of the high end fashion designers such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Valentino. Before the recession, during the recession, and after the recession (even to this day), you have never (and will never) see them lowered their prices on any of their clothing, shoes, and accessories. You don’t see commercials on TV promoting “one day sales”, holiday specials, or even see a sales rack in their stores. Why? Because they know the value of the company, the value of their vision,  and they know the value of their target clients. These designers know that their fashion designs, visions, and who they associate with are too valuable to be watered down for people who would only buy cheap and treat their designer clothes like rag clothes.

So use this as an example for your own life. Never lower your standards or put your vision up for sale. Don’t accept or agree to things that belittle your value. You deserve the best out of life and you need to make sure you are treated with high regards. If other people want or allow others to treat their life as an 80% off sales rack, then that’s their decision. You have to understand that there are many people who are content with buying and stunting with the fake rather than buying and dealing with the real.

Not everyone deserves your valuable time and attention (especially if you are making major moves on your journey). People will treat you cheap if you let them. If they don’t treat their lives with respect, what makes you think they would treat yours as such? My life, my vision, my time and my attention isn’t cheap. And because of this, I will never give out coupons and never go on sale.

Live Life On The Edge (Day 9 of 21 Days of Greatness)

Live Life On The Edge: Many people tend to work extremely hard and never take advantage of the life they worked so hard for. To me, the people who are considered the failures are not only the ones that never took advantage of their blessings, but also the ones who never realized they made it to the top of their mountain. As you all continue to embark on your journey, make sure you live life to the fullest along the way. LIVE ON THE EDGE! Take advantage of life and all its wonders of the world. Don’t sit around on the local level. Get your butt up and travel to lands that are foreign to you. Make those foreign lands your hang out spot places. Make the world your playground. Always think/move on a global level because you don’t have to create music to live like a rock star.

Jump out a plane, have wine and dinner in a hot air balloon, go sky diving, go for a morning jog with a tiger or lion, take a weekend trip to Paris just because, pay someone’s meal and watch their reaction when they find out the bill has been paid. Buy a group of kids some ice cream and tell them to follow you on Instagram just because you’re cool. Go ahead and act like James Bond or Cleopatra for a day. Just LIVE ON THE EDGE and be an exciting person to hang around! Many people work extremely hard but are shallow as a puddle. This is because they don’t open themselves up to the world. They don’t allow their imagination to run free so that it can pull them in front of some of the most beautiful landscapes known to man.

LIVE ON THE EDGE. Be a bad boy with a good heart. Be a woman who is sassy yet classy. Live a little. When you are walking down your path that leads to greatness, you will accumulate some amazing experiences and tools to make a better life for yourself. Don’t let these tools go to waste. You will be old one day and have to live with the regret of not doing what you truly could have done today. When you work hard, you must play hard. It’s a golden rule for those who are tapping into their greatness.
