Painted on Canvases

We are all like children. Painted on canvases as we grow. We start off wearing other people shades until we are able to hold our own brushes. Learning that we must watch our own technique as we grow. Step back and admiring my view. Loving my pictures because I am able to use the colors I choose. We are made by the pigment of our blues and our stories will be told by the light of our hues. We are all like children...painted on canvases. Picking up shades as we grow.

Early this morning, I walked around the park, snapping pictures and meditating with some beautiful strangers. You know I had to share a few with you. But as I was enjoying the moment, these words came to mind...

We are all creators in the universe. And knowing this, we either create chaos or peace. Our words, actions, and relationships tells the citizens of the world what type of creator you are. We can not create something in our universe and tell others it means nothing. That just means your thoughts are toxic and you don't take responsibility for all that you create. I am an agent of peace and prosperity. If I want to see that in my world and universe, I must first be the vessel of it. The universe reflects its creator. What type of creator are you?

As I continue travel the world assisting in the development of world leaders, global entrepreneurs and culture, I know that I must first be the example of such. We must be the changing agent that citizens of this world seek. How can we direct someone to the mountain top but never been to ours? How can we lead a generation to their promise land and never stepped into ours? How can we be afraid to sing the lyrics to our own songs?

You and I are creators of our worlds. We can not fear what reflects us. We can not be scared of the voices that mimic ours. We are here to live and love. We are here to be the example of it. So be it!

Vivir Mi Vida! We must always do whatever it takes to live our best life. Each day this week, I took the opportunity to pray, meditate and reflect on the beaches and under the waterfalls in DR. I watched the sunrise over the mini islands that surrounded me. I shared amazing yet unexplainable moments with strangers. I supported every local business that crossed my path. I made new friends with individuals who are just amazing in spirit and mind. They brought tears of laughter to my eyes and they made the love I have for my life feel deeper than ever before. It was true light and love.

In the middle of my trip, I decided that it was time to go higher in my life. I decided to make a bigger impact on my life which would help me impact the world even more. It seemed only right because as long as we live, I believe, we should always aim to go higher in our life. So I took out my traveling journal that was given to me as a birthday gift from one of my mentees (One of the best gifts I have ever received). I began writing in my journal about who I wanted to become and the things I wanted to create within the next 20 years of my life. After about two pages of writing, I read it aloud, and then took a picture of what I wrote. I tore the pages out the journal, put on my prayer beads, ran deep into ocean and said, "I release the power of these words that I have written on this paper into the universe. I believe with complete faith that I will become and attain all that I have on this paper." Then, I proceeded to go deeper into the water and released the paper into the ocean.

There are a few song that I play in my head when I am in my moments (such as the one I just shared). One of those songs are by Jose Gonzalez called, "Stay Alive." In one of his verses, he says, "we must do whatever just to stay alive." And I agree without a doubt. We ALL must do whatever just to stay alive. Your words are the dawns and the sunsets that you create for your life. Your life is the world that you can change. It is filled with all that you need to create the best picture that you can see with your own eyes. You just have to open your eyes, create the moments, believe in them, and BE STILL in them to experience all of GOD that's in it.

Stop Pretending That You Are Not Great (Day 21 of 21 Days of Greatness)

Stop Pretending That You Are Not Great: Here we are at Day 21. I stayed committed every single day to pour into you. You now have 21 different tools to destroy the chains that hold you back from being your own master in life. You can now [stop pretending] that you are not great. You can stop dealing with those circles that believe they are going forward but are doing nothing but chasing their tails like a stray dog on the corner.

Today is the day you wake up. To know thyself. To know that you are everything and everything is you. You have the power to change the view of the world and the power to change your inner world. Each person you meet in your lifetime is their own world/planet. They all see the world differently because they all (including yourself) have experience life differently. So everything outside of you is your universe. You have the power to choose who will be your sun, moon, stars, and the planets that will be apart of your solar system.

 On this journey, we must see our vision clearly and grow continuously. Because the essence of life is growth. If we do not grow, we do not live. And if we do not live, we will never know the full beauty of our lives. We are all creators. Everything you see in this world was created by someone who tapped into their greatness. From this website, this post in which I created for you, to the device in which you hold in your hands. From the utensils you use to eat. To the music you will listen to within the day.

We are all creators and when you decided to walk down this path we call greatness, you quietly make a promise to yourself to be one of the many great creators that have walked this planet. So today, stop pretending to be great and just BE GREAT. I pray that you continue to walk in light and love while on this amazing journey. Because it’s never too late to leave your footprints on the path of greatness. Thank you for being apart of the journey
